Onica Dlobela
Director - Tax
Onica brings over 7 years of experience in tax consulting and financial management. Her passion lies within the Tax Advisory field as she specializes in Tax Consulting and Tax Debt Management. She holds a BCompt Accounting Degree from UNISA and a National Diploma in Accounting from DUT. Currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Taxation, she is a registered Professional Accountant (SA) and Tax Practitioner (SA), having completed her SAIPA articles and board exams in 2019.
Her career has been marked by a strong passion for Tax Advisory, with a proven track record of resolving disputes and managing tax cases for NPOs and private companies. Her VAT Recovery expertise for municipal entities and NPOs is widely respected, and her commitment to client success is the cornerstone of ‘Qhubeka’.
Onica believes in giving off her best efforts through the firm to seeing the success and growth of her clients, without the worry of company administration and the tax authorities. Ensuring all services are carried out with the utmost professionalism and passion to fairly represent her clients and to promote easy access to their valuable services whilst creating long-lasting relationships.
Nonhlanhla Mzimela
Director - Local Government
Nonhlanhla is a seasoned financial professional with over 20 years’ experience in Local Government and Public Sector Financial Management. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Management from UKZN & Regent Business School as well a National Diploma in Cost & Management Accounting from MUT. She is currently pursuing post-graduate studies at the Henley Business School to further upskill and prompt her career endeavors.
Having completed her SAICA articles at the Auditor-General of South Africa, she has worked with major entities including DBSA and one of the Big 5 firms. Her influence spans across drafting TORs for institutions like COGTA and leading various public finance projects. Nonhlanhla’s experience adds critical depth and strategic value to ‘Qhubeka’s service offering. With this vast experience, she has created a strong name for herself within the trusted Public Sector.
